Perks

Although Peck Hall has its detractors, you will likely grow to love our unique building, its history, leaks, and great people. The key to getting around Peck successfully is matching the colors appropriately (everything you learned in kindergarten…). However, see what happens when you take the elevator from the third floor green hallway down to the bottom floor. It’s surprising! In addition to the mysteries of the building itself, please avail yourself of the following perks:

  • Office Supplies: PH 309, markers, papers, etc. (contact Nicole Leonce)
  • Support from Student Workers: PH 303, part-time undergraduate students are happy to help you with general office needs, including making copies and mailing items; check out the posted Mailroom schedule to see when folks are working; give at least two days notice for print requests
  • Mailroom/Copy Room: PH 303, all GTAs have individual mailboxes; use MTSU ID to use the printers/copiers in the Mailroom
  • Gen Ed English Office: PH 324, complimentary coffee and tea (but please throw in a few dollars periodically)
  • Gen Ed English Art Bags: PH 324, check out a bag with markers, scissors, and glue sticks (contact Jayrah Trapp)
  • GTA Office: PH 304A, All working GAs should have access to this office year-round
  • Kitchen /Faculty Lounge: PH 343, Refrigerator, microwave, sink, kettle available for faculty and staff
  • Keys: PH 316, for Classroom Access (contact Amanda Triplett)
  • Technology issues: ITD (615-898-5345) (help@mtsu.edu), for needs in or outside the classroom (including username/passwords)
  • Book Cart: Donate books you no longer need, and pick up something new to read from the giveaway cart in the green hallway.
