Practice Test Sites

Here are some free websites where you can take practice tests similar to the Unmanned Aircraft General Knowledge (UAG) test. By using these resources, you can practice, review your strengths and weaknesses, and feel more confident when it’s time to take the UAG test!

These practice tests will help you assess your current knowledge and prepare effectively for the actual exam:

Part 107 Small UAS Recurrent Non-Part 61 Pilots (ALC-677)

The Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Recurrent – Non-Part 61 Pilots training describes the operational requirements to continue to operate sUAS in the National Airspace System (NAS) under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 107, small Unmanned Aircraft Systems. For non-part 61 pilot certificate holders (or part 61 certificate holders without a current flight review (in accordance with 14 CFR § 61.56)), successful completion of this online training satisfies the recurrent training requirement to remain current as a part 107 remote pilot with an sUAS rating. Note: Part 61 pilot certificate holders with a current flight review, may satisfy the recurrent requirement by completing this training, or by completing the separate, tailored recurrent online training that assumes knowledge of 14 CFR parts 61 and 91.

Authors Note: The Part 107 Small UAS Recurrent Non-Part 61 Pilots (ALC-677) is the same test that you will take for your recurrent. While designed for current Part 107 Remote Pilots, you can still take it to practice for your Unmanned Aircraft General knowledge test. The test is free and will be moderated to 100 percent. The questions will not only allow you to test your current knowledge, but also experience questions similar to those on the UAG. You will need to create an account at FAASafety.gov. The website also contains additional courses and information on a variety of aviation topics.
