3.0 Module 3 Introduction

Module 3 provides information to help you effectively locate, evaluate and use information sources to fit your specific information needs and writing purpose. After completion of this module, you will be able to:

  • Identify different types of information sources
  • Effectively and efficiently locate and access information sources
  • Critically evaluate information sources
  • Ethically use information sources in your own research
  • Determine the purpose of a writing assignment and tailor your writing style appropriately

It is important to watch all videos and read all sections, 3.1 through 3.10, of the module so that you have the background knowledge to complete the learning activities in Module 3.
