This week we meet the early and influential Christian theologian St. Augustine.  Here’s a link to his well-known Confessions, a biographical account of his turn away from Manicheanism and toward Christianity.  He’s also known for the much more expansive treatise The City of God, with Vol. I and Vol. II also included here.
